Bar Chart Multiple

Two series drawn as grouped bars side by side for each month.

Bar Chart Multiple is an open-source chart from suiss/ui for React, React Native, SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose. The @esuiss/ui CLI copies its source into your project, so you own the code.

Two series drawn as grouped bars side by side for each month. Pick it over the stacked variant when readers need to compare the series directly rather than see their total.

Installation

CLI

$ pnpm dlx shadcn@latest add @esuiss/bar-chart-multiple

Works in any project with a components.json. See Installation for the one-line registry setup. Or use the suiss/ui CLI:

  1. Install the dependencies:

Usage

Replace chartData and rename the series keys in the data, the two Bar elements and chartConfig. Add a third Bar for another series. Tune barGap to control the space between bars in a group.

Notes

Grouped bars get thin quickly; beyond three series or a dozen categories, consider stacked bars or a line chart. The arrow keys move the tooltip between months once the chart has focus.

Two Bar series sit next to each other in every month, separated by a small barGap. The tooltip lists both values with a dashed indicator.
